Accessibility statement
Our aim
This website is intended to be usable by as many people as possible, and has been built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA in mind.
What has been done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip to the main content.
- Text and background colours are checked for contrast against the WCAG AA ratios, and text sizes scale with the browser setting.
- Headings, lists, tables and landmarks are marked up so that screen readers can navigate them.
- Photographs have text descriptions, and the pipe ownership diagram has a written description.
- The layout adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and animation is switched off for people who have asked their device to reduce motion.
- The "See the figures" sections and the symptom selector work with a keyboard and with assistive technology.
How it has been tested
The website was last tested on 6 October 2026 using automated tools, including Google Lighthouse and an HTML validator, and by manual checks of contrast, keyboard use and layout at phone and desktop sizes. It has not had an independent audit by an accessibility specialist or testing with users of assistive technology, so some issues may remain.
Known limitations
- Links to third-party sources open websites that ADI Leak Detection does not control and that may not meet the same standard.
- On small screens the contents menu scrolls sideways if it does not fit.
